Time is what you make of it

In today's blog i would like to discuss the phenomenon of time relativity. Albert Einstein once said while demonstrating the relativity of time, and i'm paraphrasing here, that if you put your hand on a stove, a second feels like hours, but if you are sitting next to a girl you love hours feel like seconds. This same concept applies to most everything. For example, it felt like the holidays were upon us during Thanksgiving, but it seems as though it is taking months to reach Christmas. I for one am a burnt of buckaroo who cant wait to not have to do school or work for a while. I am ready for a break!!!

We have been asked why we think its important to cite other people's work. I believe its important to give credit where credit is due. Even though we have plagiarism rules, the principle behind these rules should be obvious to someone citing a particular piece of work. If proper references are not made then it should be and is looked upon as stealing. Intellectual work although not physical like a car or jewelry is often times just as precious and important to the owner and should be treated as so.

For our unit three blog the question was asked of how we like being online students. Well that differs from semester to semester. I am working full time, my wife and i have a 9 month old daughter, we just moved into a new house and i am also a full time online student. So if you asked me this question 6 months ago i would say that i was loving it. As for right now i am just managing it. School is really tough right now due to circumstances, but its something that i want to rise to the occasion to conquer and maybe learn something at the same time :)
