Unit 9

I am so happy to be finishing this semester! It has been the roughest semester i have had thus far at Kaplan not because of the work but rather the circumstances surrounding the work. However, i did learn the paramedic method of writing a paper along with other methods for developing thoughts for a body of work. Im sure Dr. Manning is happy that those got through to me :) Onward to the next semester. College is a little like ground hogs day. At first you are freaked out, then intrigued, then tired of it. Regardless, i have found this class as well as my others to be helpful.

Unit 6

After doing my paper over diabetes, i have found that i have learned a lot from my research. This paper will prove to be influential later on in my health care career. Because i have had to go over this topic thoroughly and i have had to make sure that every piece of information is cited, therefore, this thoroughness has acted like a study method over the topic of diabetes. Furthermore, learning how to write correctly and in a professional manner will benefit whatever field i go into in the future.
Unit 7

I just got off of a very long Christmas break! My family and I traveled to Tennessee to see my aunt and uncle who live there. Tennessee is one of the more beautiful states in the US and i have lived and traveled in states such as California, Colorado and Montana...so i have see some beautiful states. The real story here is that i put my Australian Terrier up in a kennel while we were gone. When i arrived home, i couldn't pick my dog up for three days because the vet that was supposed to be watching my dog was on vacation!!! Ok so my question was who is watching my dog then lol? Anyways, i finally did get him back and the vet was very apologetic for not telling me his schedule.

Buying a House

Unit 8:

During this semester, I have moved twice. The first move was into a rent home and the second move is to a house that my wife and I are buying. This is a very exciting time for us, but the stresses of buying a new home can be daunting. We are purchasing our new house using an FHA loan in which we will only have to front 3.5% of the overall house value. However, because of all the recent foreclosures and the state of our economy, FHA is getting tough on who they loan to. Case in point, is that FHA will be monitoring our bank account until we close on our new home :/...kind of scary. I cannot wait until this process is over and we are finally settled! It feels like we have been moving for the last year!
